Roush 427R Ford Mustang Packs a Punch

ROUSH Performance keeps raising the bar in the entire aftermarket for the Ford Mustang. The latest and greatest from Jack's garage is the new 427R model that brings; you guessed it, 427 horsepower from the stable straight to the street & track. Based primarily upon the ROUSH Stage 3 Mustang, the 427R has fewer modifications, but maintains plenty of pizzazz. An intercooled ROUSHcharger system adds 115 hp and 65 lb-ft of torque to the 3-valve 4.6-liter Ford powerplant. Tuning and taming this wild rendition is ROUSH's own engineered ECM calibration that is flexible to accommodate multiple exhaust combinations.
Adding to the impressive power gains, ROUSH mates performance and style well with a four-piece aero body kit that includes: a stylized front fascia, front chin spoiler, hood scoop, rear wing, ROUSH 18-inch cast chrome wheels, high performance tires, and the special 427R striping appliqué. A sport-tuned suspension system upgrades the front struts, rear shocks, front and rear springs, sway bars, and the jounce bumpers. Every component is custom tailored by the ROUSH engineering team to provide the utmost level of performance without sacrificing comfort.
Other touches of authenticity include ROUSH fender badges, decklid emblem, a serialized engine bay plate, and a ROUSH engine build plaque personally engraved by the technician who upgraded the car in the Livonia, MI, facility. The ROUSH 427R is will be offered as both a coupe and convertible and customers will have the opportunity to create their own unique Ford Mustang by ROUSH with additional options of white faced gauges, an interior carbon fiber dash trim kit, a short throw shifter, door sill plates, and ROUSH sport leather seating.
