Hail the Kingz of Customz: West Coast/Shelby-style
Posted January 28, 2006 08:07 PM by Tim Beggs.
The Mustang bloodline continues to diversify, thanks to the partnership between Shelby Automobiles, Inc. and West Coast Customs. One Shelby Automobiles version of the 2006 Mustang, the CS 6, will have a Paxton Novi-1200 supercharger force-feeding the V6 beneath the hood. When released, the CS 6 is expected to have 350+ horsepower. V8 owners will soon think twice before assuming they are next to “just another sixer”.
The resulting hybrid of the WCC/Shelby partnership starts with a stock 2006 Mustang GT, adds the pressure of a Vortech supercharger, and results with an output of over 500 horsepower. Maintaining linearity with other retro concepts, these Ponies bring the best of both worlds to the table; classic looks and modern muscle.

The tastes and preferences of many auto enthusiasts have been compiled to add enhancements to these Mustangs. WCC/Shelby’s alliance puts these intangible concepts into reality. With the performance backbone of Shelby Automobiles and the panache of West Coast Customs, buyers will find not only form, but function in their purchase as well. There are numerous upgrades to the exterior ranging from custom Lexani rims to a single scooped hood to improve airflow. The interior receives a touch of style with numerous audio-visual components, such as a 7” Sony monitor, DVD unit, custom speakers, three 10” subwoofers, and two WCC amplifiers to down the highway.
