California Mustang Debuts Ponybuilder.com

Posted October 3, 2005 10:48 PM by Curt Gordon.

OK, so let's say you've purchased a new Mustang, & are ready to burn up your Visa card modifying it. How cool would it be to check out how certain modifications would look before you shell out your hard-earned dough? It'd be pretty dang cool!

So enters California Mustang, with their new toy, ponybuilder.com. Have you ever been to a tire wholesaler website that has the interactive setup where you can see what the different wheels available for your car would look like? Well, think that, on steroids.

You start out with one of four cars; GT or V6, coupe or convertible. Pick your color, pick your ride height, (my favorite part) pick your wheels, & pick your body parts, from hoods to side scoops to quarter windows. It took me about three seconds to have a drool-worthy Sonic Blue GT coupe decked out in Saleen duds & scraping the pavement. Oh, yeah, this is fun.

For you lucky SOB's who actually own an '05 Mustang, this is not just a toy. You can get a great preview of how these pieces will look on your ride. And as luck would have it, California Mustang also sells all this stuff. What a coincidence! Go check this thing out, it's free, no registration needed. Don't blame me if your Visa ends up maxed out afterwards, though. :)

Check out ponybuilder.com!
