Paying homage to a legendary race car, Saleen
Inc has taken one of their Saleen Extreme Ford Mustangs and applied a beautiful
coat of paint to resemble the legendary Ford GT. The Saleen 550, aptly named, produces a
whopping 550 horsepower and dazzles in more than power with its stunning
appliqué and contemporary aftermarket styling.
The 550 logo on the door helps ensure victims know full well what just

These quick shots taken by Jim Dunne at Popular Mechanics show us a tailored Ford Mustang GT that might have some finishing touches we may soon see on a 2008 Ford Mustang Bullitt. After the successful run of the 60s throwback Bullitt, Ford is sure to continue the fan following of the car, along with a long-awaited modern day Boss Mustang. This car (pictured above and inside) could just be a base model 2008 or a stripped-down Ford Mustang for the value-minded--much like the SN95 Ford Mustang GTS.
