Yahoo! is getting into the folks-who-can't-leave-their-cars-stock arena with "Yahoo! Autos Custom", a new beta thingy. (Yeah, I'm no techie. Big Whoop. Wanna fight about it?)
Post pictures of your car/ride/whip/whatever, hang out on their forums, you know, the same ol' same ol'. Actually, it does look pretty cool, especially once I figured out how to make what I see there Ford-only. Yeah, that's more like it, because when I go to a custom car site, I sure ain't looking for Toyota Siennas!

Tom Nastansi has signed 22-year old Valerie Limoges of Montreal to drive the Blackforest Motorsports #4 Mustang GT in the Grand Am Cup series. Valerie signed on to drive the car for three years, starting with the '06 season. Look for her to be behind the wheel at the season opener in Daytona on January 26/27, 2006. You go, girl!

Steve Saleen, always looking to wow us a bit more evey year, has pumped up the horsepower in his S281 SC Ford Mustang offering to 435, up 35 from last year. Everybody say, "daaaaaayummm!"
Keep in mind, this is the mid-line car. I wonder if the 500-hp S281 E (for "extreme", of course) will also get a bump in the power department?

On Saturday, October 10th, David Empringham won the 2005 Grand-Am Cup Series driver, manufacturer, & team championships in the Ford/Multimatic Mustang at the VIR 200. The event, held at Virginia International Raceway, was won by Tom Nastasi and Ian James, also in a Mustang.
