Each LIVEWIRE is pre-programmed PCM flash tuner that comes pre-loaded with up to three different dyno-proven performance tunes and one fuel economy tune. The LIVEWIRE unit can also be custom tuned by any one of SCT's 500+ tuners around the world.
One of the most prominent features of the SCT LIVEWIRE is the 128MB SD memory card that allows for the storage of multiple tunes, for up to 20 different vehicle applications, while preserving the complete factory uploaded program. Coupled with long-term data logging of multiple PCM parameters, that can either be viewed in real-time and stored into memory or downloaded to a personal computer, these two robust features set this product well ahead of the competition.
You asked, SCT listened. As a result of extensive market research, the LIVEWIRE offers a new instrumentation feature. The interface screen is capable of viewing and recording 6 different vehicle parameters and up to two additional 0-5 volt signals through a special analog input port. This allows a user to record and monitor difficult signals, such as RPM, directly from the vehicle's PCM without a signal converter or interface. In addition, the analog port allows you to view and record other real-world signals such as boost, wideband O2 or exhaust/gas temperature through the use of external sensors.
In addition to several robust tuning features, LIVEWIRE also has a fully programmable LED shift light that reads the tachometer signal directly from the vehicle's PCM for better accuracy and consistency. LIVEWIRE completes this task to perfection by eliminating the need for additional external additional hardware and harness splicing. A third LED is a warning light that allows you to monitor critical parameters, such as air/fuel or exhaust gas temperature and warn you if there is a potential problem before it is too late.
