The racing legend who brought (notably) the Ford Mustang as well as other Ford and Chevrolet vehicles out of mainstream and into the aftermarket, has decided to call it quits. After 23 years of tinkering with toys at his nameplate business he founded, Steve is leaving the helm in the hands of a superior management team that is sure to keep customers and the commitment to performance in line with the company's past and future objectives. Don't expect him to fade away entirely, however. Saleen is still a major stakeholder in the company and will most likely maintain ties and influential impacts to the Saleen dream in times to come.
